How do I receive the baptism Holy Spirit? In which way can I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit? 
Listen carefully as I speak on this episode. Pathways to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The pathways to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts chapter one, verse four and five. Then I will read Acts chapter one, verse six to eight, verse four and five. "On one occasion while he was eating with them, this was Jesus threatening to Jesus Christ. Eating with the disciples, he gave them this command. Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. "
So in acts chapter one, verse 6 to 8, I read. "So when did they the apostles were with Jesus. They kept asking him, Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom? V7 he replied, The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times. And they were not. They are not for you to know. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses. Telling people about me everywhere in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
 It's amazing to see that the disciples asked Jesus, but the way he responded to them shook me, surprised me because they seem. It was a very simple question. They kept asking him, Lord, has the time come for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom? This is what they were after. They were asking him about the restoration of Israel and the Kingdom of Israel, the Kingdom of David. He said they asked him. They kept asking, Lord, has the time come? Because we know you are the Messiah. We want to know that has a time come for you, because it's your responsibility to free Israel and restore our kingdom. He answered them. The father alone has the authority to set the date and the time to free Israel and the kingdom, and to restore the kingdom. He went on to tell them, you will receive power. What does the power has to do with the restoration of the kingdom? What does the power has to do with freeing Israel? What is the power has to do with this? He said to them, you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. Because Jesus knew the only way the kingdom will be restored, the only way that the government will come back, the only way they are there will be freedom for Israel is when the Holy Spirit take over the kingdom. When the Holy Spirit comes on the act, the people are talking about physical kingdom. Jesus have to refer them first to the kingdom of God, which is beyond Israel, the Kingdom of God, which is beyond Jerusalem. They ask, they ask when? When will you restore? Is the time come for you to restore Israel and restore the kingdom and restore the kingdom and free Israel? He asks. You will receive. Wait until you receive the power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. In acts chapter two, verse 1 to 4, when the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and feed the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seems to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the spirit enabled them. So they got the baptism of the Holy Spirit, like Jesus said. And the baptism came at the upper room. Experiencing the baptism of the Holy Spirit is significant. It's very important for us, a Christian, to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit when talking about it in the Holy Spirit is the empowerment, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. The term baptism of the Holy Spirit is very powerful. Some people argue that you don't find that in the scripture and the Bible is obvious. It's obvious that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is stated. Jesus promised the father promise, which at the Upper room was in Jerusalem. Until you are endowed with power from above, once you are in power with the power of the Holy Spirit, until when the power, when the Holy Spirit come upon you, you will receive power. That's what told them you will receive power. So it's very, very important for us to see that the Holy Spirit, when he came upon a disciple, there was a transformation and the lives of the believers and the lives of the disciple, the Holy Spirit empower them. So I strongly believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the empowerment of the believers, the empowerment of the Christians. So I'm speaking on the pathways to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I want to concentrate on this. How can I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit one. 1s Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Through laying on of hands. Through laying on of hands. The laying on of hands is a biblical practice associated with impartation of the Holy Spirit, impartation of power or impartation of the gift of the Holy Spirit. In acts chapter eight, verse 14 to 17, acts chapter eight, verse 14 to 17, when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that this, that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. There that day they sent Peter to Samaria. When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers, the new believers there, that they might receive the. But the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit has not yet come on any of them. They had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they receive the Holy Spirit. So the first thing that you need to see how to receive the Holy Spirit is by laying on of hands, but by laying on of hands. So Peter and John laid hands on the new believer, the new Christian, and they got the Holy Spirit. They hold the baptism. They receive the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 19, verse one to cease. I would like to read in NIV a new international Version acts chapter 19, verse 1 to 6. While Apollos was at Corinth, but took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them, did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? They answered, no, no, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit. So Paul asked, then what baptism did you receive? John's baptism? They replied, John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told these people to believe and the one coming after him. 1s That is in Jesus. On hearing this, they were all baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. You see that baptism of the Holy Spirit through laying on of hands. That's like an example laying on of hands. So the first one, Peter and John. Now the second example, as Paul laid hands on them and they all receive the Holy Spirit. He said, The Holy Spirit came on them. You have to understand how the Holy Spirit came on. They did say, came in them, came on them. So the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began to prophesy, and they spoke in tongues. So the second way or pathways of receiving the Holy Spirit. The second is baptism through speaking the Word of God. That means you receive baptism as someone is preaching. Someone is preaching the Word of God in the church, you can receive the baton of the Holy Spirit because as if someone is speaking the Word of God, the Holy Spirit can come upon you and you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Let us see that in the Bible. Example. Acts chapter ten, verse 4044 to 48 adds acts of apostles, adds chapter ten, verse 4044 to 48. At 1044 to 48, while Peter was still speaking these words. The Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had to be poured out even on Gentiles, for they heard them speaking in tongues, praising God. Then Peter said, surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have. So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. So this is what happened here, was that they got the baptism of the Holy Spirit before the baptism of water. So there are believers, Christians who got the baptism of the Holy Spirit before the birth of the Holy Spirit, before the baptism of water, before the church even organized their baptism of water baptism. They got their baptism of the Holy Spirit. So he was very clear. Peter said, well, who will hinder them not to be baptized? Now that they have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit like we have received. So they need to also to be baptized with water. There are those who receive nothing of the Holy Spirit. Before water baptism, there are those who who receive the Holy Spirit after the baptism of water. So we're going to see that the third way to receive in the Holy Spirit is what I call praying together, calling congregational prayers, Congregational prayers that we will see baptism. Holy spirit, when you are praying together with other believers in the church, when you are praying together with other believers in the church, you see in acts chapter four, verse 29 to 31. I read. And now, Lord, look upon their threats. They are threats. And grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal. Our signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place which which they were at, gathered together was shaken, they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the Word of God with boldness. This was when the church was under attack, and they went to God and said, they are threatening. The attack is too much. And they began to pray together. They gathered together. The Bible said the believers gathered together, the disciples gathered together, and they were praying for boldness. They were praying for miracles to be done through the name of Jesus Christ. And as they as they gathered together, the Bible said suddenly. There was shaking and the Holy Spirit came and feed them, and they began to speak the Word of God with boldness. So the Holy Spirit, you can see the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the church in a prayer meeting. In a prayer meeting. So as you ask God to baptize you in a prayer meeting, I can promise you don't just go to Bible study, attend prayer meetings because the Holy Spirit can fill you in a prayer meeting. The Holy Spirit can feed you by laying on of hands the Holy Spirit can fill. You are the. The Word of God is being preached. And the third, the Holy Spirit can fill you in the congregation, in a prayer group or in any gathering of the church, in a prayer meeting, or in a church Sunday service are the people are praying together. You can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 1s Another way to receive the Holy Spirit is what I call speaking to God in a personal prayer time. So he's asking God, seeking God's face in your prayer time, so engaging in fervent prayer. Jesus encourages believers to ask. He said acts seek knock in order to receive the Holy Spirit. The Bible make us understand that we can ask and the Lord will give to us. Luke chapter 11, verse nine and verse 13. Luke chapter 11, verse nine. So I said to you, ask, and it will be given to you this for the Lord Jesus Christ speaking. Seek and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened unto you. If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more we, your father in heaven, give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. Very clear. So you will see. But in the Holy Spirit through asking in prayers, so as to ask God in prayers, the Holy Spirit, the baptism, you will receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. So asking God in prayer, you may you, you may be praying for the Holy Spirit for long, and you have now received the Holy Spirit in the church gathering. Then in your quiet time, God can do it. He's ready to baptize you. Just open up yourself to him and you get the baptism of the Holy Spirit. So the next one is, how do I receive the baton? The Holy Spirit is believing and receiving. I call it believing. I receive you believe you receive. You believe. You receive. So you remember. In other part seven, verse 37 to 39, I mentioned, just Christ came and he cried. And he said to them, if anyone tastes come to me. Whoever believes in me. Out of his belly or out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. And the Bible said he what he meant the Holy Spirit. He was talking about the Holy Spirit that the believer will receive. So when you believe, you ask the Lord for the baton of Holy Spirit. Believe it. Believe the baptism. Receive. Have the the mind that since you ask God, the Lord will give you the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Another one again is what I call expectancy expects to receive another way to to receive the baton. The Holy Spirit is when you approach with expectancy, when you have open mind in at chapter two, remember the Bible said they were in one accord, they were in agreement. They were expecting. So because they were expecting the baptism of the Holy Spirit with with expectant hearts, the Holy Spirit came upon them in a powerful way. So the other way to receive the baton of Holy Spirit is through expectancy. So expect the baptism, the Holy Spirit, as you ask the Lord, make sure you expect the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will come upon you in Jesus mighty name. The Holy Spirit will come upon you in the mighty name of Jesus. So how do I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit? How do I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Is walking in obedience, walking in obedience. Live in obedience to God's Word. The Holy Spirit works powerfully in the lives of those who submits to the will of God. You see, when you submit to the will of God, when you submit to God, the Holy Spirit will take over you. We are witness of these things the Bible says, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him. At supper five, verse 32, So the Holy Spirit is given to those who obey him. As you obey the Lord, you will receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. How can I receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Is true repentance. The baptism of the Holy Spirit begins with repentance, which begins with repentance. You remember when the Holy Spirit Peter spoke to Simon. What was it Simon said to the people, repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins, and they will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. So it's very important that Peter spoke to them that they should repent and be baptized. Every one of them in the name of Jesus. The baptism he was talking about was the baptism of repentance, the baptism of repentance. Don't seek for manifestation. That's why people make a mistake. Don't see for manifestation. Don't seek for people. Say that. Say after me. That means you receive the Holy Spirit. No no no no, you don't have to say anything after someone in the church. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is baptism of power. So when the baptism the Holy Spirit takes place in you, you will know. You will know because the Holy Spirit cannot come on you. The Spirit of God cannot come on you and your life remains the same. He changes everything. The Holy Spirit changes everything. He brings transformation to us. He brings transformation to our life. He brings transformation to our lifestyle. He brings transformation to our family. As we have received. We receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. So the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is a baptism of transformation, the baptism or transformation. So I have mentioned so far how you can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the ways you can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. 2s It's the baptism of the Holy Spirit. How do I receive the baptism of Holy Spirit? You've heard it. How to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit by laying on of hands. By speaking the word. By praying together. Congressional prayer. By praying personal prayer. You receive. By asking God. You receive by believing and receiving. You receive the Holy Spirit by expectancy. You receive the Holy Spirit by walking in obedience. You receive the Holy Spirit by repentance. May the Lord bless you. May the word you've had today be a blessing to you. I love you with the love of God. God bless you. God bless you. Let us pray. There are many Christians who are going to try to go into challenges of receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit, praying for long of how to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Father, I pray that the word of heard will show them the way. Open their eyes to see the best way they want that they can. Have an encounter with your spirit, mighty King of Glory. And I pray for them right now, wherever they are listening to me, that you baptize them. Father, in the name of Jesus I remove any hindrances, anything that is hindering them. Not to baptize, not to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, mighty King of Glory, Jesus. Baptize them right now in Jesus mighty name. Thank you Lord. Father, thank you because you have done it.
